hey guys i have just bought a new widescreen monitor and the diemntions of the screen are 1600x900 and when i try and play lfs the screen isnt big enough for the screen .

You mean resolution?

Dimensions are like width and height in inches.

The buttons may be moved around a bunch, but it should work,

..what screen uses 1600x900? that is pretty wide....

Go to Options - Screen. There.

Just to make sure, have you pressed shift+F4 to check if you're accidently in windowed mode?
