Well used the search function, but did not find any solution...

I have the problem that I loose the connection to the server EVERY time the track changes.

Changing from AS3 to AS2 e.g. is no problem, but from AS2 to BL1 I disconnect.

It is no matter where the server is hosted (500Servers, StormServers or in my local network).

Yes, I have some highres textures, but at Windows XP 32bit I don´t have any problems!

Only at Windows 7 64bit....

I just copied the whole LFS folder - so both LFS versions are identically.

Both systems are running on the same computer and at the same 30Mit cable connection.

Any clues???

Could it be that you moved LFS to another (slower) hard-drive? I can remember having the same problems with my old hd, since I'm on my new one I had no such trouble any more.
(I'm on win7 64bit too, so it's def. no problem with 64bit)

Hmm... good question! Well I copied LFS from my "data" partition in to the root partition of Win7. It is the same quite fast (new SATA2) HDD - but it´s the system partition.

I will test using the data partition. Thanks for the tip!

Mine does the same, I've never figured out why.

Doesn't worry me too much as it only takes 2 clicks and a few seconds wait to rejoin whatever server I was on

Hmm... starting LFS from the other partition did not help very much...

Now I only disconnect at 8 of 10 instead of 10 of 10...

Next try will be to copy LFS to an other physical HDD...

Well you are right, but in a normal track rotation it looks quite dumb always disconnecting as Admin... lol

Have you tried installing a new fresh LFS in a folder on your desktop (or your system drive) and just copying your skins,setups,cfg file etc across, you will probably have to unlock LFS again, but at least W7 will know its all meant to be accessed because you will have extracted it there, instead of just moving it, if you get my drift.

I have known people have this prob on older OS's, I used to see one or two regulars drop off the ctra server everytime it changed track
