Have S1 licence, trying to race 2 pcs on LAN connected through a router.

Have tried both
a) start one pc as host, connect to that IP addresss from other
b) run DEDI server on one PC connect to DEDI IP address from other

Both approaches just give this error message "no double join to internet host".

Odd, because the rules say
3.1You may install S1 or S2 on 2 computers for your own use or to race a friend on a Local Network.



Yes, thats what I want to do!
So how do I tell LFS that I am NOT trying to use an "internet host"??

(I CAN get Midtown Madness to work easily 2 player LAN - do we have to go back to that??!)

Typically, I worked it out as soon as I had posted.

I hadn't realised that the white text indicates "item selected" - have similar problems in controls setup screens - not always clear what's clickable and what's selected.

Brilliant - now its working properly its worth an S2 licence!
