i am a very bad skinner (but improving) and i know there are many skinners who could use some help/advice/insperation/ideas/tips/tricks/textures/opinions. so lets use this thread to get better! can i start by asking for something to model a skin after (include car it would best fit if you want :shrug make it kinda easy, i just wanna see if i just cant think of ideas, or if i am just bad at the art process. thank you

Not too hard to find inspiration for skins or cars you want to replicate. Here's some examples:
BTCC
D1GP
DTM
WRC

Just a few search terms that churn out lots of cars. You can the alter the search more specificly for certain cars.
Example Ken Block wrc(much overdone skin atm.)

You can also start watching car videos from drift/race/drag events and find inspiration from there.
