The participants are all beginners, just like you, and this will result in some close and fun racing. You don't even have to enter all the rounds - just pick the ones that you can attend and get some more experience!
Current LFSBC Status: Offseason
MiniFBM League
Racing in 25% restricted FBMs, offering closer, more competitive racing with a 'Go-kart' feeling. There will be a selection of interesting AutoX layouts in the race calendar, and at other times we will race on short circuits, such as Aston Cadet and Fern Bay Club. Season 2 has just finished
Current M-FBM Status: Offseason
The Kyoto 250 and Kyoto 500
Ever wanted to race Daytona 500 or the Indy 500? Now you can - at the Kyoto Oval! There will be two long races, lasting several hours, that will require skill and good tactics. The Kyoto 250 takes place once a year, around Easter and is 140 laps in the XRT. The Kyoto 500 takes place in the summer, 270 laps in the FO8.
Current Kyoto Status: Kyoto 250 Signups Open
LFSCART
LFSCART a mixture of road and oval courses in a single seater league. The car used is the Formula V8. Originally, the idea for the league came from Thilo Falkenburg, and initially, he was pretty much alone in the organisation of this event. LFSCART has now become one of the many events run by New Dimension Racing. LFSCART is run in conjunction with the Kyoto 500. LFSCART visits the Kyoto 500 for one of the races of the series. Participants of LFSCART are not guaranteed a place in the Kyoto 500, but will be able to race if they meet the entry requirements and qualify in a high enough position for the Kyoto 500.
Current LFSCART Status: Season 2010 Signups Open
LFSCART Light
LFSCART Light is a mixture of road and oval courses in another single seater league of ours. The car used is the Formula XR. This was another one of Thilo Falkenberg's ideas, and we've spent the past several months getting this idea pitched and sent back to the drawing boards for improvements. It's finally out there, and the season starts in September.
Current LFSCART Status: Season 2010 In Progress
Grand Touring Amateur League
The Grand Touring Amateur League is an endurance racing series run in GT2 restricted FXR, FZR and XRR cars. The season consists of a mixture of 3 and 6 hour races, with a 12 hour race as the season finale.
Designed as a 'feeder' series to the higher level Masters of Endurance and IGTC leagues, the GTAL introduces less experienced players into the world of endurance racing in LFS.
Current GTAL Status: Season 2010 In Progress
iCON Touring Car Championship
The iTCC is based on various touring car championships from around the globe. The league uses the FXR, air intake-restricted to 32% to give 320 BHP. This is a sequential geared 4 wheel drive car, with similar power to modern touring cars. Each Season will see approximately six rounds each consisting of three individual races.
NOTE: iTCC information can be found under the ICON Racing Events subsection of this forum.
Current iTCC Status: Season 2010 In Progress
TBO Challenge
The TBO Challenge is a league offers close and competitive racing in the highly enjoyable TBO cars (XRT, FXO and RB4). Each round consists of a short sprint race followed by a longer feature race.
Current TBO Challege Status: Season 2010 In Progress
Road Sport Cup
The Road Sport Cup is a small LFS league featuring racing in the FZ50 (FZ5) and Raceabout (RAC) cars. Originally run by danowat, and now under the control of NDR's Chris Wilkinson, the league takes a more simple and less formal approach to league racing: Races feature no safety cars, no strict skin rules and no external applications to control the racing, giving drivers a break from the intense atmosphere of some of the bigger leagues. Driving is nevertheless expected to be of a high standard, with electronic aids such as Traction Control banned by gentlemen's agreement.
Current Road Sport Cup Status: Season 2010 In Progress
Special Events
To celebrate special occasions such as Easter, Christmas, New Year and of course, NDR's birthday, we like to organise special one time events. These are usually in the form of a 2 hour endurance race. In the past we have held these races in a variety of cars and tracks. Whether it's mixed class STD / TBO racing at Aston, or UF1 racing at Fern Bay, we like to provide something for everyone when we hold our special events.
Current Special Event Status: No Planned Events
