Quote from danthebangerboy :Just grab either vista or XP drivers from manufacturers website and set them to run in compatibility mode, then install them, thats what i did, im using the XP drivers for my SiS soundcard on w7 and its fine.

I did, and had to download some modified thingy too to get them working. Now the only thing is to get the resolution right and everything would be fine I don't need sounds
Oh shit! The resolution became normal, I did some windows updates, some additional updates! WOOO!!!!!!!!

Oh, and the sounds are working now too!
sorry about the writing on the pic..can't do it with a mices, and cant be arsed to load it into paint/photoshop/etc

Only (major) companies that HAVE NOT got proper dedicated Win 7 drivers available for download are Logitech and Canon...but they are supposedly in the pipeline!

Which personally I think it's kinda pointless, as they can just rebadge Vista drivers and call it a day. There's no major changes to the driver architecture (even from Windows XP, the only thing they added is the requirement that they sign the drivers so dwm will work.)
