I believe the line should be:

/mprdir=mpr

If you copy/pasted those from your code, that might be why it's not working. Otherwise, I haven't a clue offhand.

I just tried to launch the Z3 dedi server with /mpdidr and got an error message of "Parameter 34 is invalid". So, I don't think that's the problem.

It sounds to me like the server can't write to the given location. Is the mpr folder marked as read only or is it located somewhere where only an application launched with admin rights can write to (e.g. Program Files directory in Vista)?
No mate, this is the cut & paste:

// MPR autosave (0=off / 1=manual / 2=auto)
/autosave=2

// MPR folder
/mprdir=mpr
My dedicated server is on 500servers.com.
I thank that mpr would written in their space.

I just had a look at my config which saves mprs fine it seems.

I don't have the /mprdir line, and the mprs end up in /data/mpr as per a standard LFS Client install. Perhaps try to comment out the mprdir line and see if that works. Just a thought.

Yes, it would be. I couldn't have known that without you telling me though

I'm almost certain that autosave works on the MoE server (also hosted by 500 servers). It might be worth trying to contact franky500 if you don't get a more helpful reply from another forum member in the near future.

I think all I did was take some stabs in the dark, but glad to hear you're happy now
Sure !
I think all I did was prove that I spend too much time at computers.

Damn....as soon as I saw what he had I knew what was wrong. I've spent way too much time checking for errors in the CFG file when a server I start doesn't show up in the list.
