HDMI and LFS
Why it doesnt work?

I get "Could not initiate graphics"
You need to provide more details than that.
Weell like what, every game works, in my TV except LFS, it says Could not initiate graphics when i connect the HDMI port.
And it works fine in the PC
Yooo Suk. Mine works.
Run LFS using something else, set the graphics settings to the lowest resolution and refresh rate available, quit LFS, switch to HDMI and start LFS again, then select the correct resolution.
Possibly screen size, my LFS was set to 1440x900, but my tv only suports upto 1366 x 768. I didnt get an error but screen was black and took me quite a while to figure it out.
however my TV has a VGA port
Usually it works by removing cfg card thingy, not sure, so back-up it.
And it's nonsense why it shouldn't work, works fine here.

Running full HD (1920x1080) here on my 37" lcd-tv and it worked from

first second on, just took the DVI out on grafix to HDMI on tv.
I got that too (more like "Output not supported or something along those lines) when I move a full screen game from one Monitor to my TV. TV's are really, really picky about the in-game resolution. I fixed it by putting it to the correct resolution for my screen seize.
Also playing in windowed mode works
Quote from chanoman315 :Weell like what

What graphics card you have? What drivers you have? What is your primary display (is the HDMI tv it)? What version of Windows you have? Are you running LFS windowed or full screen, have you tried if it works in the other? Does LFS work on any other display than the HDMI? What resolutions were you using on the TV and/or on your regular display? etc.

Details like that. People can't help you solve your problem if you just say "it does not work". More details always help.
99,9% sure it's the resolution issue, just like mhartma5 wrote before

start the computer
connect to TV
then start LFS in Windowed mode (set "Start Windowed 1" in cfg.txt)
and when it starts go to screen options and set the res you have on your TV

would be nice if LFS could recognize if the display res is to low for it's internal settings, and change it automatically instead of just showing an error, but it doesn't so you have to get in there through windowed mode and change the res manually
This tool might be of help if you're having to launch with different resolutions and window modes.
