Probably because I drew it and I'm a perfectionist.

Why don't you draw that rev counter as a proper half circle, then warp it to the right?

I drew it as an ellipse and warped it and then cut off the bottom.

it is not tall enough is the problem...the angle that the different branches of the m come off the previous branch are a bit too big imo (but it is much better then i could do )

No, its the size of the top of the M on the door handle is bigger
