He probably means the gear linkage, as when they work loose the vehicle will more often than not display all the symptoms of a phucked gearbox.

I know exactly what a gear linkage is, but its quite apparent that TIB has no idea what a snychro is, as you cant "adjust" them. To even get to a synchro, you would have to remove the gearbox and dismantle it.

I know that you know nath, i just thought he may have got confused.

Finally getting round to doing my test again, so I should actually own my first car in a couple of months. Exciting!

It's happened to me a few times, one incident a women leaned into her passenger footwell and veered onto the pavement. I don't even think she realized I was even there, she just shit brix and went back to the road..
