Hey everyone :)
Hello everyone
i started to play LFS some days ago (about 3 or 4 days)
and it seems really nice...
even tho i have a problem
i dont know what to do first..
Buy a steering wheel or an S2 licence
I dont really know how much is a S2 licence so ill be glad for answer
Thanks from advance
Welcome!

I had a license first. But if you want to learn driving/racing with a wheel, buy a wheel first.

S2 license costs 24 pounds. More info at http://www.lfs.net/?page=shopinfo
Thanks
Anyone else..?
Welcome Morox

since we are close to the release of the Logitech G27, i'd buy the license first and wait for the G25 prices to drop. I think the G25 is gonna be very good value for money. However you really need both (License and Wheel), but you will be rewarded with hours and hours of endless fun
Buy the license first, you'll get mostly better racing, more cars and tracks to explore and racing with your mouse as controller is not thàt bad. Meanwhile you can save up for a wheel.

Welcome!
Welcome!

I'd probably recommend the other way round - wheel then license. Because that way you can get used to the totally different driving style while still on the demo servers and then when you get your license you can dive straight in.

With analogue acceleration and braking you won't be able to drive a lot of the S2 cars well. The high-powered RWD beasts will spin you, and you're torque-steer the FWDs off at corners. And if you compensate by setting the button response or braking power low then you'll take too long to get to and from race speed to be competitive.
Thanks everyone
mmm i have one more quistion
when im driving from inside car view
how to make like hands of the driver so i can see his hands..?
and umm i think im getting pretty good to a begginer
i can turn without spin out and i pretty got the braking and accelerating
and im starting to get the idea of drifting..
Pretty hard to move from games like SA:MP to LFS..

Go to Options > View > Draw driver / wheel and set it.
I would buy wheel first

I drived in start whit mouse, but my hand was ****ed after hour of racing

Yeah, but you just wait until you drive the FO8
I agree with the first-wheel-second-license guys. As you need to master the driving first, you can better do it with a wheel then to first learn it with a keyboard/mouse and then AGAIN learning it with a wheel.
