I'd like to suggest to Victor to rethink the cars' hotlaps ranks. The same set of tracks is not convenient, IMO.
Still, it can be discussed if it is proper to make all cars drive at the same tracks, if it takes much skills to drive at AS3 in XFG or UF1.
So the problem is that AS3, -4, -5 consist of long straights and few corners. The gaps are not as big as at Fern Bay Black for example. So these tracks do not reveal skills as much as the latter, but take your time to drive about 20 laps to polish it. Look at benchmarks of UF1 and XFG for these tracks. That's awful.
So, point 1: what's the sense of keeping long and not much skill-requiring tracks like Aston National? For these cars they are waste of time. In fast cars it really requires some skills, but not in these.
Point 2: including Kyoto Oval in XFG/UF1 ranks is sensless. They do all the lap with 100% throttle and gaps are miserable. While in BF1 and FO8 it is not a big deal to make 10, 20, 30 laps to get a good handicap, in XFG it becomes a diseaster. You just WASTE YOUR TIME driving straightly.
In my opinion, these two points favour nutters and prevent wider range of people from participating.
Solutions.
I write for XFG and UF1 only, because I didn't try to hotlap with other cars. It is better to ask those who race GTR/single seaters if they like hotlapping/racing at SO3, for example.
Let XFG and UF1 hotlap at AS1, BL2, FE5, FE6 for the ranks. Exclude KY1, AS3, AS4, AS5. Instead AS7 can be included, because this track has more %-ge of corners and less of straights. FE4 is a special case, it is very twisted, very challenging track, it must be kept in these ranks. KY3 may be discussed.
