Here are high resolution skin kits. The default skins are also in data/skins_dds I think but in DDS format.

you have to rename the skin to whatever car you made it for (for you it would be XRG, XFG, or the other car i forget what the short name is :razz

so it should look like XRG_chosen name

and it goes in your data>skins folder

some tips, you should re-size the skin to 2560X2048 so you do not stretch the logos, and before you put them in-game you should resize them back to 2048X2048

also if you are using master-skinners, you should find the blank skin (usually at the botom) move it up right before the black mask, and set the properties to multiply

You must upload the skin first to LFSworld, but that isnt available for demo users. You can create skins, but no-one can see them online if/when youre demo racer

if you ask nicely and arent acting like a king when you are demo, s2 players would probably be happy to upload it to lfsworld for you

but i made the skin and i loacated it on Skins folder
When i go ingame
it wont show up
Any ideas what the problem is?

Click new colours and then pick your skin name out of the list that appears

if you used gimp then it is in xcf format, photoshop it is in some other format, but it has to be in jpg format.

go into the program you used, load it up, and go into save as, lfs>data>skins name it apropiately and at the end type .jpg (it should look like XRG_first skin.jpg or XFG_first skin.jpg or whatever car you used)

tell me how it works

It is, by uploading a skin for a demo racer, you're giving them access to licensed features (the ability to upload to LFSW). If they want their skins online, they must by S1/S2.

But if the skin is really good, and someone really wants to use it and wants to upload it to use it online, that's ok (i think).. but uploading because you're asked to do so (how friendly or polite it was), it's not allowed..

bribing people? noo.. the government does it too, so why can't we?

Uploading skins for demo isnt allowed. License people shouldnt it being doing it alos. Regardless if the skin is good or bad. Its a feature youll get with buying your license. Not when your demo. By uploading the skins becus we like it doesnt change anything. They dont have that privilegde and shouldnt be having it aslong as their demo.

Well thats the point. You upload a skin which shouldnt be uploaded because its made by a demoracer. If we keep doing that what in the world will stop them from asking the next time. Even if the skin id top of the bill I still believe we shouldnt upload the skin.
