rc drift car help
hi,
i just got £100 and i wanted a hpi e10 drift but i found out there really lsow i also like the cup racer model from hpi which is more period ae86 but i think its the same under the shell could someone reccomend a car or tell me if the classic racer model is any better or should i beg for some more money to buy this http://www.geedee-modelshop.co ... 248&SubCategoryID=546 i really need help ima noob but i dont want some £70 piece of crap tbh
tbh any 4wd touring car with the corrct tyres and correct setuo will drift just fine, the main differance with the preset rift cars is the usually have a few things you would have to get for a standard touring car, i borrowed my cousins drift tyres/wheel once and just shoved em on my tc4 ft that was setup for carpet racing at the time and it drifted fine lol
well in bolton model mart they have the e10 touring lambo murc so i might buy that for £75 and then buy some t drift tryes then spent the £20 on crysis and cod4 for pc

Oh my, not really a puntuation police myself but you really should work on it a bit!!
I would guess that any wheels for a 1/10th RC that are labeled 1/10 wheels Should work?

Looks cool, Personally i would remove the spoiler for now :P, And u can make ur own intercooler with some cardboard and a picture or something, and an exhaust with a piece of plastic or something, and spend the money on some wheels

i might get a toyota oddesy mpv shell just for the fun of it but most likely ill get a s15
are you mad, putting a brushless and lip combo will just destroy ur E-10. Those chassis are to weak to handle such power, don't do it.

even with a alloy chassis? might try to find a alloy chassis
sorry for dp but theres a few people whos gone vrushless and put lipos in and they say that they fly but i just put my motor at the front like the drift model put slicks on the rear as it was damp outside and i dont have any drift tryes yet but how come it just had catastrophic understeer
Far too front heavy? Just drags it in a straightline instead of turning?
Quote from piggy501 :Far too front heavy? Just drags it in a straightline instead of turning?

it does turn well but doesnt fell good but when it was rear heavy it was j turn crazy and wouldnt slide for anything so i just fitted my normal tires back on and ill be ready for tomorrow when i should be ordering my drift wheels and tires
sorry for dp just ordered drift wheels and tires should be here in 2 - 3 days does anyone know some good rc acessory shops that sell lots of bodyshells and batteries etc i only know of modelsport uk and rc mart
Nice im actualy very intresed in a Rc drift car.

At the moment i have this nikko subaru i once bought for my birthsday.
Im think of tuning it since the warrenty is long over there is a store that has engines for it wich use power more efficient and with new batery stystem i can run up to 1 hour on 1 batery.
i have a nitro off road buggy from tamiya. nitro thunder/blaster/force.

it drifts like there's no tomorrow

tarmac, dirt, gravel, anywhere, even on road tyres
