Clutch?
Was thinking...

is there a esay way to make a clutch for momo racing wheel?

Im playing LFS over 3 years. i played with keyboard for a year and i had Logitech wingman as my first steering wheel and about a year later i bought Momo racing. But i want somthing more witch i cant afford (G25) so im going to try to make my own clutch. yeat i have no idea. PLEASE HELP. maybe you know any esay ideas. the simple the better.
EDIT: What you can easily do is attach your Wingman steering wheel into your PC alongside your momo, and just use the Wingman pedals, and set the alternate wheel aside. Easy. You have an extra wheel, and pedal, which makes this easy.
This is a bit messier, but clean it up, and it won't be such a problem.

DIY: Sadly I don't have the experience, knowledge, skills, or the material to make a DIY. I might be able to build myself an h-Shifter, when my dad gets hold of a router, at which I ask for his assistance. People have repeated this many times, however. Search on google. Take a look at the forums at RSC. I'm actually gonna do a bit more research. I've left it pending when I left for vacation 2 months ago, I believe.

My preliminary drawings are still in the works.

DIY will be cleaner, you will learn something provided you are starting out fresh like myself, but you should have time in mind. I just hope I have time left to do the job, and get my S2s. I have to get them tmr, and be in time for Scirocco!
thanks , i was thinking would it be possible to attach g25 wheel pedals to my momo ?
Option 1:

I've heard people have been able to do so with G25 pedals on a DFP, and similarly on the DFGT. But what I remember, which I hope I recall accurately, is that the pedals have to re-wired using the DFP/DFGT Pedal wires, and into their respective wheels. Obviously, I doubt the clutch would work in this case. I think the difference, however, of the wheels (DFP/DFGT and G25 pedals) is one prong. If you can get that working, that's great. The Momo and DFP share a common wheel, thus plug, am I correct? So this should apply to you also.

You may be able to 'simply' (not simple for me!) wire the pedals into the PCB of the wheel.

Option 2:

What I'd recommend you do if you have a G25 set of pedals lying around is to get a "G25 Pedal Plug" (don't recall plug name ) to USB connector. They run for around $30, but you may get them for less; I don't know. You basically plug the G25 pedals into the PC, and it acting as its own 'independent' controller. You should be thankful that LFS supports more than one controller. In fact, I should too!

Option 3: Why don't you go buy other pedals? I'm quite sure that you can get such pedals as the sweet Ferrari pedals. Forgot the names, but they are so - called sweet. I'm not sure if they'd work independently without a set of Ferrari wheels though! If I recall correctly, there should also be an independent Actlab Clutch or if not pedals. You can do research on this.

Question out of curiousity: Do you actually own a(n) (extra) set of G25 pedals? That'd be sweet. They aren't the best, but it'd be comparing chocolate and sh*t with my DFGT pedals!

Hope you have the best of luck, and I hope that I've helped you!
