The online racing simulator
I have to wait for the AI too do better...
I think I heard somewhere on this forum that the AI take a little while to adapt and become better drivers. Like after a few laps.

I was taking some laps on the big ring, with the PRO setting. Nomatter what car I choose, I always end up lapping the AI. For any updates in the future, can we have a new difficulty mode over PRO? I need a challenge. I am pleased with the PRO mode on all the other tracks, but the ring, it's like their conserving their tred to go 25 laps. I do understand, that their probably programmed too do the ring for long periods of time, but I want something fast paced. I'm not up for any endurance races like in GT3 lol.

need a challenge? go online! or even join some league...
The AI can become somewhat competent on certain tracks using certain cars. Kyoto Ring is not one of those tracks. Ditto for South City. The ultra fast cars like the BF1 and F08 also pose problems for the AI.

:iagree: Online racing is amazing!
I have raced online before, it is awesome, though for Kyoto Ring I never see any races with about 10 or more players. I'm somewhat of a nascar fan, not watching it, but driving it. I like playing with the AI because when I get bored of racing I can hit them and watch them fly into walls going 150mph... lol
The AI currently doesen't realise that they can take banked turns faster, for them all curves are flat, this is the reason why they drive so slow.

I would suggest to you to stay with NR2003 for oval racing. Oval really stinks in LFS with not having the proper setup options for oval racing. Road course is the king in LFS. I was always an oval driver moving through downloaded tracks in ICR2 to NR2003. Now since I've found LFS, my brother-in-law has been pestering me for over a year about when I'm going to reinstall NR2003. I installed for FPS testing on the new PC and that's about it. It's roadracing in LFS every night for me.
I do like Nascar racing (The 3 turn courses, not the standard 2), but I do like road courses too. Back in the old demo days I had alot of practice on what was available
