360 Game Pad?
I used to use my old X Box controller with usb adapter when I gamed but now I use a wired xbox 360 controller. I am trying to configure it but the triggers are set up as axis and the brake and throttle are on the same axis, I can't figure out how to configure it Does anyone have experience using that controller with this game? I'd love to start drifting in this game like I used to.

What OS do you have? If you have XP it's pretty easy (though still a bit retarded). Just get XBCD+ drivers, make sure to follow the directions you find with it as accurately as possible. If you've got Vista or Win7 you may be out of luck, as they started cracking down on unsigned drivers (which XBCD+ are) and might not allow them to install.

The main issue is that the standard Microsoft drivers simply wont let the triggers act as seperate axises.

Good luck!
This thread should help you out: http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=39086

I use a wireless 360 controller from time to time and I've had no problems with it other than the sticks being way too sensitive for the first 20% of movement, makes going straight a challenge without spearing off in one direction. Also, does XBCD work with a wireless 360 controller or does it only work with the wired version?
You say you got your triggers set as an axis?

HOW! I need this to make my PS3 gamepad better
