Spectating Choppy
Game runs mostly fine, but when I go to spectate, it gets so choppy and cars sound like they are reving up and down. Its not location because this happens on every server. I get 17.7 mbps so I don't think its connection
Help? Anyone?
heres the mpr
choppy.mpr

watch it from incar view and listen to the sound the car makes... sorry for triple post

I can't find any problem whit it. Maybe its average, or below average, but not choppy.

After a quick search, I can't find any better in my mpr directory, but only worst.
Did you look at the incar view?
I also noticed that the actual in game spectating is way worse than in the replay(mpr). In the game its so jittery that you can't even tell where they are going untill they "magically" appear there haha. Also noticed that you can't treally notice any lag/choppiness in the mpr(replay) unless you use the incar view and listen to the engine revs jump around
Yup..
Depending on the server sometimes I see(and hear) even myself like that on mpr's.

Edit:

That make it simple. Select a server closer to you. I never pick any whit 100 Ping or higher. But I prefer 50
Also there is what I see:

Its should be the same but, who knows?

It doesn't depends on speed, it depends on latency.
Well the main thing is if anyone knows how to fix this problem besides gettinga new computer... well im going to try to get my isp's faster internet service and that could help my ping
What Shadowww said, new computer will not solve it (but may help in other aspects of the game), "faster" internet service will not help if the latency remains the same (very likely, as you will only receive higher flow - costly - while LFS does not use a large broadband.
Have you tried a US based server with a low ping as suggested?
Are you using a wireless connection? (see the thread http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=7085)
Good luck!
Thanks for the info. no i am using a wired connection, but do u thing changing the CAT 5 cable to a CAT 6 would help?

No, CAT5 is just fine. As said multiple times before, the problem probably lies in the server's latency. Try joining a US based server with a good ping and see if that makes any difference.
