But I think that the physics of Forza 3 is better than GT5. I didn't like the physics of GT4. GT4 was pure shit, When you did a burnout the car just didnt move. Even in gear 5-6 it doesnt move like it should. But Forza didnt had this problem that's why I bought a Xbox instead of a PS. If you guys can confirm me that it isnt like GT4 then I might buy a PS3 instead of repairing my Xbox .
If there are current car list can someone provide me a link to it, please? Thanks anyway.
They sure look like they must be 3D, if that was just a texture it would look really bad as you went by the building. I just wish there was less motion blur, brings the whole picture down in my opinion.
Well i have to be honest, from the videos i have seen of forza it looks very very arcade, the cars just glue onto the road and oversteer is very strange too. I "think" GT5 will be a bit better than forza 3 in both graphics and physics, because GT5p looks a seems a little more realistic already. (i hope)
Well, in NONE of the forza videos i have seen understeer, and the oversteer is just rediculous. You don't even have to counter steer to control the slide, like is that realistic? In GT5p the over/under steer is more realistic. imo
And don't call me fanboy, as i also hate GT5p (only played it with controller)
Way to pick on something that isn't relevant at all Nowhere did he say that Forza is more realistic. But if you wanna go that route (again, for the quadrillionth time)...
You think driving your car into a concrete wall at 100+mph and not having a scratch on it is realistic?
Right... my point is, enough with those stupid petty arguments already, we've been there before.
EDIT: I also agree with mutt in that you can't judge the physics in the Forza 3 demo without actually playing it. There's no argument about the graphics, even a blind man can see that GT takes that crown.
Forza it doesn't matter if you hit a wall, you can just rewind.
That's totally realistic...
Also, Prologue can be more thought of as being a tech demo for what GT5's engine will resemble, not a full game. You're comparing a tech demo to a full game... That seems pretty fair. I guess we should compare your driving to a F1 driver to create a "fair" comparison to your logic.
GT5 has confirmed damage on all cars, basic surface scratches on stand road cars, and full damage on race cars.
On both, mechanical damage exists, this ranges from steering difficulties to loss of specific gears in the gearbox.
Is it 100% realistic, no. But so bloody what.
@n00b:
refer to a ~18 month old game in order to make a point about a future title that doesnt even have the same issue /your point
spell the ~18 month old game as prolouge /your credabilty
errr no don't /thread. what you have just said is completely irrelevant to what ginho was talking about. GT5 has been confirmed to have mechanical damage in ALL cars by the way. All of the roadcars have body damage, but not to the same extent as the racing cars, which will have parts that break off etc.
Shame people can't think up more creative trolling other than the same old, no damage not realistic saying. Easy comeback to that. How many drivers have rewinded a race when they have made a mistake in real life? What's the point in having damage if you can just rewind to get rid of it anyway. Hah
That's graphic porn..
Seriously, it's looking THAT good! Also, the way the cars behave looks enjoyable. Sure, might not super realistic, but still most likely some mighty fun!
