I'm not someone who is on LFS all the time and working on my skills.
And I think judging someone by their LFS Stats is downright pathetic.
It only shows a driver by some numbers and graphs. Without seeing him drive.
Most of the combo's I drove were just some lousy races/laps. Just for some fun. And relaxing between my homework. The only track I focus myself on is the Kyoto Oval. I signed a team wich has a server there and I have quite some people who are impressed of my stats there. I do hold some server records etc.
And Live For Speed is a game. Some people are just awesome in Live For Speed but may not be that good in real. Did the Die-Hard LFS'ers perform really well at this years UK Karting Meet?
I am more focussed on my real life karting career, and I only look at my Real Life racing performances rather then my LFS performances. Because this is is not real! It still is a Game!
For someone focusing on their "real life career" your on the forum alot and on lfs. Your not exactly talented though are you? anyone thats done karting from an early age will be good at it but your still doing it, anyone that tends to be any good goes into cars like Rudy who in my mind would kick your ass even if he hasn't been in a kart for a long time. Look up NickC he races in the Renault world series and megane trophy and totally rocks at LFS despite focusing on his real life career thats actually a career. Also arrowkart4, awesome aussie karter, one of the best in LFS, then [DuCK] awesome in LFS has a good real life career in junior aussie v8's.
Then you come here saying your an awesome karter and totally shite at LFS then have the nerve to slag other peoples driving???? Then say that its cause your focusing on your so called "career" which we've had no proof of. Your not even the best karter in LFS so i doubt your going to get into a position to get paid for karting which not many do anyway.
Oh wait, wait. THEN you come here to play LFS for a bit of training i presume? Then spend all your time on the oval cause its the only combo you can drive when you raec karts, lol GREAT career move there Vinny.
Pearcy. I have done karting from a very young age in fact. When I was 6 I started. But when you gotta pay lot's of things yourself and you got parents who do not share the same passion for your sport then you do simply not have much luck getting into car racing. Also I love karting. I do not want to get paid for it, neither make it into Car racing. And you cannot compare other people to me. I mostly drive LFS for the FUN not for the results .
And I never said I am a amazing karter Pearcy. I only said I am focussing on my karting career.
Oh and BTW. Rudy races in a class wich his father is involved in. My father isn't involved in anything racing related and doesn't like the kind of world it is. I have to pay most of the things on my own. That's why I will never make it into Car racing. My aspirations are to turn my passion into my work later. Starting a Karting Shop. Rather then race for my money.
Sorry but no 6 year old child knows they want to do karting or any sport unless its somewhat pushed by their parents. You say they aren't suppotive but they've paid for your karting for 10 years atleast, if my parents did that im pretty sure the last thing id say is they aren't supportive. You say you can't afford to race cars but im pretty sure you can race cars for less than it costs to race karts at top level. You can't be karting in that good of a championship if you've supported it all yourself, or have you actually got more support than your letting on?
You put yourself across as this awesome karter than can make a career out of it and a racing career to me means you'll eventually get paid to drive. You even slagged everyone off and the kart meet saying you were going to win but then didn't have the balls to show up

I don't think you can read. My dad has supported me. But he does not share the same passion for my sport. Wich makes it difficult to compete at a high level.
And about that meet. 80 euros for not so tracktime is too much. I wasn't the only one not showing up. The money went into my own kart instead . And I did choose karting myself. My parents did NOT push me.

Vinny you like the shifter karts? You should try the F2000. Thats me going around Infineon. Shifter karts are cool, shit they get up to 120 mph, and they are lil dinky things. lol I bet it's a lot of fun, just be careful one of my close friends broke a rib, not even in a crash, just turning too hard, he snapped his floating rib.
Are you completely mad? I assume you are referring to the UK LFS kart meet as that is what you mentioned. It was £45 for 2 hours track time each. You find me ANYONE else who can get it that cheap I will eat my socks
Nice to see some ID drivers here Onto other things.... You have a point, LLM probably doesnt have as gooder driver line up as SR or RSR, actually, it may just be that you are more advertised, more people want to join SR or RSR or whatever, I will also admit that in LFS your all probably alot better, cleaner and quicker than me, I accept that to, but what I dont do is ever throw abuse at other teams, this is the LLM thread, please, leave it alone if you are not a member or signing up... its not like we spam your threads or websites... please just move along and grow up.
Well it takes practice to be as good as a few of you are and no one is perfect and I agree with oscar on this for you guys to talk the way you do about a team like this is not called for. I bet that when you first played LFS you were not as good as you are today. So what if LLM and ID has not been around as much as you have but atleast we try and we this don't call it quits. I'm hoping to bring my team to LLM and help bring LLM up too speed with my husband. And yes I'm a girl and I bet I can still have more fun then you can on LFS. I mean come on guys its this a game its not like you are going to win any money if you win a race.
And you could lighten up. Nobody was "throwing abuse" at your team, just having some fun. You can either play along or act as the victim of the oh so cruel "abusers".
I still get ridiculed for using chase view after 4 and a half years of driving LFS and I couldn't care less.
