A good tip for you, eating helps confuse your body a bit. I was falling asleep before I had a sandwhich just now.
FFFU Quicksilver, i'm still awake, it's probably too late now to catch some sleep.. :Kick_Can_
ahahzhahhahahahahahah.... for once you guys have to suffer the pain of doing an all nighter just to watch a race.....

but here, in canada, i need to wait till 1am for the start.... =D ( now dustin will start an argument about how nanaimo is better than montreal coz he can watch the race at 10pm but who gives a f*ck. =) )

oh, btw. with those penalties, kimi now has a chance of winning. using his kersorz from the start, to take second and wait for hahamilton to crash at degner complex

Being a big fan off State side sports, I've often pulled all nighters to see a game/race. This is easy tbh, it's whether I make the game latter on In the sneck.
i did manage to stay up till the race starts, watch 2-3 laps.... and because there is no overtakes... well... i fell asleep..... but allnighters are easy to do when u have videogames (left 4 dead ) to keep you alert

The danger is I get to invovled too much and i miss the race (has been known during marthon session on Football manager/C&C/Civ 4 , so i keep off those, and waste the time watching werid guff on obscure TV channels.
thats what happend to me last night... i was watching harold and kumar escape from guantanamo bay instead of watching the quali.... and everytime i turned around, well.... a car crashed into the wall...

Quote from Mackie The Staggie :.... and waste the time watching werid guff on obscure TV channels.

you mean.... *aham* ? stuff that TVE would do with Norwegian girls?
At this time of the morning my pet guinee pig called "wabbit" is my bestest buddy. Me and him will be watching the race together as best buddies should.

woah... you made me laugh there.... my golden is sleeping right beside me.... what a lazy dog that i have.... =)
BBC stream working for anyone? I've still got the "Coming Up" graphic they display before the stream starts but I've got the live audio (of Jake/David/Eddie).

edit: About 1 minute after I posted this it fixed itself.

I was already sleeping at the time you posted that.
Quote from Storm_Cloud :Sigh,

Here's how it works....

FIA owns and controls F1. They have sold the commercial rights to F1 to the Commercial Rights Holder (Bernie Ecclestone, CVC and so on). The last deal I saw figures on was $375m for 100 years(!!). The Commercial Rights Holder then sells the media rights, usually on a geographical basis, to media companies (eg BBC). These media companies will then exploit the rights.
  • The Commercial Rights Holder reserves the rights they have not sold to others. This means that if F1 is not available in your area you are still infringing on those rights.
  • By watching illicit streams you are stealing intellectual property. It doesn't have to be tangible to be property.
  • You do not have an inalienable right to watch F1. If F1 is not available in you area (or is only available on PPV) that is not a defence against the crime you are committing.
  • "No harm" is not a valid defence in law. Just because you don't think something will affect anyone else doesn't mean that act changes from being illegal to legal. Speeding on a deserted road is still speeding. Smoking crack at home is still illegal.
You might not think you are doing wrong, but you are. There is no contrary position, no obtuse example that can supercede the argument. It might not be the most serious crime in the world, but people seem to think that, for a variety of stupid reasons, what they are doing is not illegal.

I have my right to watch F1 if I just pop down to my pub and buy a pint, so if i do so, can I buy a pint, go back to my home and watch BBC instead of the shitty starsport coverage in the pub?

I don't care if it's legal really, I just care if it is moral.
Nice driving, Jaime.
Grosjean.... what a retard
Wicked race by Vettel. He killed it.
It was a boring race.
Interesting race. I really love the track; I forgot how interesting it is. It's a shame it's horribly dangerous.

Quote from Kazu2799 :Grosjean.... what a retard

Not entirely sure what your point is here... Grosjean was unfortunately placed when the SC came out and was between Trulli and Vettel. Hardly his fault. He got out of everyone's way when it was safe to do so.
from a button fans point of view, he makes the races interesting.......good recovery drive, and held off the pressure from kubica enough to score some valiable points.

good win for vettel though.
wasn't worth waking up at 5 to watch
I was 2 hours to late to watch because of my dam telephone.
It didn't ring so i had to watch replay that i recorded.
Basicly boring race, only fun part is when Jaime Alguersuari crashed
Vettel was awesome. I'm tempted to put money on him to win the championship now, despite his engine penalty issues.
Jeeez.... So much for waking up at 5......

Shitty race....

Grats to Vettel. Astonishing drive.
Quote from Intermediate07 :No way. In the next race Button will get the championship. He only needs to make a P4 or P5 (dunno how much victories he got in this season) and then he's the champion.

I think they said today on RTL that Button made 60 points in the first 7 races and only 24 in all of the following 8 races (including today) so it's not that obvious, IMO.

Button can't even manage a P4 or 5 at the moment. He needs to turn off his cruise control.

Brawn aren't uncompetetive, its just that virtually the entire grid is close together performance wise that tiny changes in performance result in massive changes in results.
Alguersuari crashing to try to make the race exciting.

CONSPIRACY!
