Hi all. I just wanted to know if the car2plane bug will be fixed in the next LFS patch. I say it because I've readen a topic about the car2plane bug, but it wasn't fixed because it'ld delete all hotlaps. But as I read, in the next LFS patch physics will be changed, so I wanted to know if the car2plane bug will be deleted In my opinion, it's quite modest, because I've retired in several league races because of this bug.

It's the bug when you hit a red/white barrier, and the car is launched somewhere.

Correct But not only the red and white barrier, there are some race track barriers that make you fly too

The devs already know about this and it's on their todo list.
No idea about when it will be fixed though.

It would be quite laughable if that bug (still) wasn't fixed in S3. Somehow I doubt it will be, though

Ah, so "car2plane" is a kind of twisted "nuspeek" version of "car turns into a plane"...

I thought it was some kind of exotic error message, addressing an error on the second plane of a car, or on a plane of the second car or whatever.

But yeah, the bug is known and on the "to fix" list. I think this thread can be closed now.

Yes. It's related to the modern teenagers inability to use words like to, are, you etc due to laziness and stupidity. Numbers are for counting, not for replacing prepositions etc.
