Just a thought, but could it be possible to receive news from lfs.net via SMS? It is possible to receive a message when a new patch is available, but I would like to receive other important announcements, such as "Rockingham coming to LFS" and "VW Scirocco postponed".

that might cost victor a fair chunk of change, or if they use email-to-sms, it'll cost us a fair chunk of change...

Of course it would cost the same £0.10 like other SMS-messages (WR changes and patch-announcements). And naturally you can switch them on and off like other SMS-messages.

Alright, you can select to receive an sms when news is posted on www.lfs.net . For now you can do this on the regular sms window at lfsworld (http://www.lfsworld.net/?win=live_alert&whichTab=sms). I can add the option to select it to the lfs.net account details page as well if it seems slightly interesting for more than 1 person

yeah I know what you mean, it's not a repeat once, but a 'how many times should you receive an sms' but that's such a long line to put in a tiny space :/

Is it possible to get a sms when Scawen posts on the forum? Because then i can get excited and run to the pc for Test Patches or some usefull information from him

Theres no news on LFS Accept Test patches which arent really important.
