I have a few idesas that would be very helpful hopefully. Since half the fun of racing games is watching replays along with the analytical side of breaking down the replays to help improve lap times, the more angles & options available would be very useful. =]
1) Allow the initial camera to be set to another view other then inside the car when you pit.
2) Add a few new SHIFT+U "Target Car" option cam angles such as:
- "Follow my car & target another car / race leader / next closest car" so it rotates the cam to keep both cars in view.
- "Follow my car in a geostationary orbit" so the cam rotates and always stays facing the same side of the car @ eye level camera angles.
- "Follow my car and target the racing line ahead" to keep the cam automatically rotated & pointed down the track.
3) Add an option to change modes with a mouse click instead of having to press SHIFT+U & [Esc] everytime to change angles.
Twin Drift Battle - Here's a replay I made that would be perfect for the "target 2 cars" idea. =]
