AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh OMG ITS HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE

2nd pic REALLY shows how big it is !!
i bet it was about 3" long! and the wings were huge!
Hehehe, we get them in our back garden, and our cats catch them, we had a 3" long one without a head on it that the cat had attacked the other day, bloody cats!!!.

Dan.
jeezie chrizzie. I wouldnt like to meet that on a dark night
Quote from the_angry_angel :jeezie chrizzie. I wouldnt like to meet that on a dark night

i bet if it flew at you as fast as it could and hit you on the head it would knock you out lol
hehe, probably
Blimey

It's a bit of a concern that as this country gets hotter by the year, these bloody things and worse will be more common. The British are not ready for big, bitey insects yet
Its the global warming, your island is turning to one big jungle which is full of those big flying thingys
I always thought dragonflys eat misqitoes (i have no idea how to spell that) which is why i liked them..
I like dragonflies, and damsel flies (the littler ones). Very pretty creatures, apart from the 'face' which is just scary.

And yes, they eat Mosquitos, and/or their larvae I believe
I cant stand any bugs....kill 'em ....KILL'EM ALL!!!!
*points to nearest Anger Management centre*
