Hehehe, we get them in our back garden, and our cats catch them, we had a 3" long one without a head on it that the cat had attacked the other day, bloody cats!!!.
It's a bit of a concern that as this country gets hotter by the year, these bloody things and worse will be more common. The British are not ready for big, bitey insects yet

here in GA.. the biggest dragonfly i've ever seen was about 2 inches long
