Why can't I send menssages IN-GAME?? It says Ihave no administrative rights or something!

Do I need to BUY the game to send IN-GAME msgs? :s

Hello and welcome to LFS!

You need to be the administrator of the online server, or be playing LFS on single player mode to send system messages. You can either host a server (Multiplayer/Start new host) or download the dedicated host from www.lfs.net/?page=addons then set an admin password (Open setup.cfg with Notepad, look for this line:


Change it to:

And then join that host on your main LFS, inputting your Admin Password in the Host Password field (Multiplayer>Join Specific Host) and your server name in the Host Name field.

I want to send msgs in others ppl server, not system msgs, just chat with other racers in-game :s AmI pressing the wrong button to send msgs?

Danny, I believe he was talking about ordinary chat messages

Press T in game to pop up the chat message window, enter your message and send it by either clicking OK or hitting return.
Messages prefixed with a single forward slash (/) are interpreted as commands and certain server side commands are only available to administrators. Entering an unknown command as a regular user without administration privileges will return the message "You do not have admin rights".

My guess is, you prefixed your messages with a /, which happens when you use the tilde/hash key (] & } on a brazilian keyboard) next to return.

TYVM! This is so NOOB haha, Now I can send the msgs, I was pressing the buttom for server msgs haha. looking like a noob right now haha,anyways I RLY am! Best time in BLackwood with the FBMis 1.15 and Im already happy with it LOL, trying to lower it
