I'm having a major issue with VERY choppy sound in 0.5Z25 (it's been an issue with me for all versions of 0.5Z, maybe even 0.5Y) and can't figure out what's causing it. The frame rate is just fine, but the sound is very choppy and continuously echoes. Any ideas? My sound card is a SoundBlaster Live! 24-bit and I'm running the latest driver. Thanks!

Any chance you're using Vista? Try setting sound acceleration to basic on dxdiag on the audio tab (start->run->dxdiag)

No, I'm running XP, but I suppose I'll try lowering the sound acceleration later. It works flawlessly on 0.5V, though.
