I was wondering what you played before you found lfs. I was having a nice game free existance which lasted about 3 years ending with wow and before that Interstate 82

Right now i mainly play lfs and Battlefield 2 mods: Forgotten hope 2, point of existance and operation peacekeeper as well as picking up the unreal anthology for a single player blast on ut2004 & ut. It's hard to choose what to play as well as trying to do my diss but ubuntu saves me from failing. But there aint nothing like shooting pixelated colours of light to take your mind off diss writing for a short time. Though the breaks are never 10 min.

Interstate 82 pic - cars and guns. There was nothing better... till gta went 3d (I practically played this game forever like since it was released up till 2006 or so when there were only about 6 of uss left)

I used to be quite a big, yet casual, WoW player.



Other games I also used to play are: BF2, BF2142, CS:S, CoD:MW and ofcourse UT3. Yes, I was a massive FPS junkie.

Don't know about it. Havent played in like a year. And even when I did, I wasnt really good. BF2 gun physics were a lot different from CSS that I was used to, so it took me time to get used to.

I might do some singe player first, then we can try a little game.

It may sound weird but LFS (S1) was one of the first games I played. My first PC was a used one, so there was couple of games there.
I was also playing:

Operation Flashpoint (first I didn't know how to exit the game lol)

Midtown Madness
GeneRally
Rally Masters
NFS Porsche 2000

and at that time I thought LFS is the best ever - now I think the same (as a simulator).

Oh dam! I had this game on my 2nd or 3rd PC. So good! My first PC was with Win3 (DOS). Played some 1pixel games on it, was great at the time.

My first PC was with about 77Mhz CPU, 2mb video, and about 16mb of ram or some.

TOCA2 and Midtown Madness 2 especially

UFO: Enemy Unknown, Civ: CTP, Action SuperCross (I preferred the graphics over Elastomania), GTA3 cop subgame. I would have said World of Warcraft, but I picked that up when I was already playing LFS..

This reminded me. Before WoW I too used to play Lineage 2. The C1 chronicles. God almighty.... worst MMO ever..... biggest grind fest you can ever imagine, still, very addictive.
