There are situations in the game where this still works, depending on the difficutly level you're playing. But most of the times you'll be dead pretty fast.

BTW, Have any of you played Resistance 2 and what do you think of it? It's nothing really revolutionary, but it is still pretty fun to play, as is the online system a pretty good setup.

That's how the cover system works in Gears of War too, and it's a lot of fun. Sort of the point of having the system, really

Can't wait to get a hold of this. Hopefully some time before June!

Finished my first playthrough on normal difficulty about an hour ago, needed eight hours and a few minutes in total.

- I've died 56 times.
- I've commited suicide two times?! LOL!
- I've revived squad members 31 times.
- I've killed three squad members...
- I found the ending to be very disappointing.

Now i've started a new game on hard difficulty. It's still not too hard, but "out in the open" you'll be dead in no time.

I haven't played the second one, but from the limited time I exposed myself to the first one I'm not so keen on finding out how the second is. The first was pretty rubbish imho.

I mostly find the online to be fun, the story, becuase I'm a chicken shit, I tend to get worried after every battle simply because there's another one imminently coming soon after.
