Pink border around laid down rubber?
*FIXED*

As you can see in the following screen shot, my racing line rubber is bordered by an odd pink line. This happen to anyone else? I'm on 32 bit color, and I can't think of another reason why there would be such a strange color occurence there unless it's just the way it is in-game. Any thoughts?

Edit: Added high contrast picture so the lines are easier to spot. You can see there is also a green line in there as well! It's quite annoying seeing pink/green lines on the track all the time.

Yeah, had to look at it for a while but it's there illepall
That's wierd.. because only 16-bit color would do this for my computer at least. But if you are on 32-bit in the game, I'm not sure.... maybe turn on/off the Dither option or something.

Dither doesn't change it unfortunately.
This may be a silly question, but does this happen on every track, or only at that point ?

[edit] lol
Well, shame on me. I guess when I tooled with my settings last, I indeed accidentally put LFS on 16-bit color mode instead of 32-bit. Thanks for the help anyhow.

I'm pretty sure all of those answers are correct. It's not entirely related to the thread, I'll grant you, but I enjoyed it.

lmao, this must be the best answer

Excellent use of a hijack opportunity by the way. You took an otherwise defunct thread and turned it into something worthwhile. Haha, good times.

Quote from thisnameistaken :I'm like the Womble of the LFS forums.

My apologies to everybody outside the UK or under the age of 30 who doesn't know what the Wombles are.

I just checked out that website and noticed a banner that said "UK street gangs: Could you cut it in South Central LA?"

I just wanted to answer this question with a HUGE NO. We have some crazy MFs in the States. Oh, and lots of guns.

Quote from thisnameistaken :Yeah I used to know a kid from Inglewood, and he had some pretty insane stories to tell. I met him in NJ, where he'd been evacuated to his uncle's house to keep him out of the gang scene.

I actually used to feel safer in places like New York and Newark than I did in my home town in Yorkshire, but maybe ignorance is bliss

Yeah, I felt fine in York, Manchester, and London when I went. I know nothing of the crime there, but maybe I'm in the same boat as you with the ignorance thing?

Quote from thisnameistaken :Well the worst you'll find here in York is petty criminal smackhead beggars, although we did have a rather exciting double murder literally across the street from me a couple of years ago - only discovered a couple of weeks later when rancid stinky human flesh ooze started seeping through the ceiling of the bakery below!

I love a good stinky flesh ooze sandwich. Shame they had to clean that up.

Manchester's a different story. My Mancunian business partner had his 350Z nicked from outside his house last winter. When the cops found it they couldn't return it as it was being held as evidence in a murder enquiry. When he finally got it back he spent the next several weeks picking machine gun shell casings out of it.

He's had his house turned over a few times in the past, and once confronted the burglars (in the nude!) and fought them off, but now he's been done over by guys with machine guns he's hoping they only come back when he's out.

Sounds like this guy can't catch a break! Sure he doesn't have a "rob me" sign on his door?

Erm, the producer man did it. Mike somebody. The band (was it called Wombles?) went on to do 'real' songs too, including the Wombling Merry Christmas.
Doh !, you've given him the answer

(i thought it was the guy from Tears for Fear's looking after Katie Melua ?, the singer, not Roland Olazzzrabelllzfffried, the guy behind Atomic Kitten.)
