Setting the car while driving.
I just don´t get those cambers, I´ve been driving Blackwood with GTI and I´m hoping someone would tell me what those cambers do?

I have something like -1.8 cambers in front when iI start those short 5-6 lap races in some servers but the grip will go bad about in lap 3.

So should you set your cambers closer to zero when the tyre temps starts to rise or add more minus to it or how do you keep your grip on the front thrue the race?

And other setup-tips are welcome too!!!!

My laptimes are 1.34.5-1.35.5

Try to use about -3.5° live camber on both axles. If they get too hot, it can be either the tire pressure (should be a tad over 2 bar) or your driving style. Too much steering input or locking up under braking usually overheats the tires quickly.

Thanks, I´ll try.

As far as I know, using negative values in camber will set your tires like this:

/-----\

Which means they will run hotter on the insides of the tire than the outsides. From old setup tutorials with NR2003, I've always read that you want your inside temps to be around 10 degrees hotter than your outside, but that would be stated in F rather than C being from a Nascar sim. Then center temps you would want to be equal or just a bit cooler than the inside. Ideally, at least in real life terms, you want to put the entire contact patch of the tire on the track when you are in the corner. With negative camber, with tire and suspension flex/body roll, the tire will roll over in the corners to contact the track along the entire width of the tread.

To get the temps of the contact patch, you adjust camber for inside and outside temps, then pressure for the center temp. I usually set camber to -0.2 to -0.3 (setup, not the live settings) or I find that they get too hot for racing. You usually see more negative camber from inferno sets and WR sets because they are only set for 1 or 2 good hotlaps.

Am I just talking rubish here? Or does this make sense? I'm not a setup guru, but I'm trying to learn a bit and using sets I adjust more than sets from inferno or other racers.
