that stuff is built into the wheel... i wouldn't be surprised if LFS will support it directly, given some time for the devs to learn how the new wheel features work.
I have a G25 and now a G27.
It makes a hell of a lot less sound. (when I am drifting all u hear is the the leather sliding threw my hands , very nice!)
It grips better and seems to run more smoothly. (dead zone is improved)
I think the FFB is a bit faster than the G25.
The shifter is much better, feels like they put in stonger springs, whatever they did, it helped!
Pedals are almost the same (u can adjust them and they are fitted 13mm closer to ur feet if I'm not mistakin'.
I love the g27 and I am very glad i bought it.
Its worth the money imo.

U cannot use the flappy padels in GT5prologue with the G27 caus u cant change the gearbox anymore.
So if u wanna drive F12007 in GT5P , u gotta shift manual, and so u only can take 6 gears out of 7.
When will GT5 get it wright, perhaps in 2012?
And no, u cannot use the G25 shifter with the G27 wheel. (last time i checked u couldnt anyway)

i just got my G27 and major improvement over the G25. It is a little weird being able to hear the wheel slide across your hand instead of the FFB motors. I hope someone can do something about the LEDs cause they dont work in LFS or i havnt noticed them lol
side note i got a G25 with a dead wheel, but shifter and pedals work. lol
