What a nonsense post, obsolum. You start out by saying that nobody can presume anything positive about the new physics, and then you make your own unqualified negative presumptions about them. Shameful and unnecessary.

In fact the new physics are working out so well that even Scawen, who usually plays expectations WAY down, felt compelled and enthusiastic enough to share with us the beta testers' enthusiasm for the new physics. So actually we DO have positive feedback, even before they've arrived, and they run in direct conflict with your negativity.

Given the information we DO have, I'd rather go with the positive vibe than suffer your baseless negativity if it's all the same.
To be honest i thought it was pretty obvious that these two are different as partly the car skins pictured on each site are different and the names different and the team members different.

I always used to like the redline racing servers when they were populated.

Nice helmet dom

You're right and I was well aware of that I actually deleted those last 2 sentences and put them back a couple of times, but in the end decided to keep them. I thought I might as well make my own presumptions, unqualified as they may be.

We'll see. It's no secret that LFS' way of handling FFB takes away the greater part of FFB effects, leaving you with a bland feel compared to other sims. Like I said, I am sure the cars' behaviour will improve but I am not so sure the feeling will, too, as I think that isn't so much a matter of physics as it is a matter of... well... code, I guess, whatever it is that creates and sends FFB signals?

That would be the physics...

LFS connects the force feedback directly to the steering arm and does not add any canned effects.

It could actually use some rattle over kerbs and with flatspots, but aside from that what you are feeling is the physics without any canned effects masking the errors in the engine underneath.

Whether this is a better approach or not is down to individual taste.
