It really would be handy if dediserver would have own icon.

Currently, windows 7 users who run dediserver and LFS on same PC experience problems - after alt-tabbing, you can switch to wrong window, because taskbar doesn't shows titles anymore. :3

I know icon is easy to change using some resource editor, but I think it should be there by default.

By the way, data\icons\LFS_MPR.ico can be dedi-server icon too.

It's a valid improvement suggestion, but there are other solution to your problem.

• Change the "Taskbar buttons" setting to "Combine when taskbar is full" or "Never combine" in Taskbar and Start Menu Properties.
• Enable Aero Peek and check if you're selecting the correct window before switching to it.
• Use Win+Tab to switch apps.
• Hold Alt when switching via Alt+Tab and check the title, it's centred ontop of all listed windows.

Still, +1 on the suggestion.

Changing to Never Combine or Combine when taskbar is full - do not want, mine is full all the time
Enabling Aero Peek - have to hold mouse over for like 2-3 seconds before it appears
Win+Tab - I prefer clicking icon on taskbar
Alt+Tab - same

Using reshack'ed icon currently.

BTW did you know you can click windows in Alt+Tab and Win+Tab? Might be faster than navigating through a full taskbar

Yes but I prefer clicking the icon like shadow..
