I heard he was driving an old VW Caddy and he went over a rough patch, and there was a hole in one of the roads, so he lost control and swerved into the fairway :P

He probably just lost control after bobbling over an unrepaired pitchmark

I don't think he'd been drinking, probably just been smoking some green. He maybe had to big a draw of the putt.

A little birdie told me that we're on the back nine. I feel sorry for Woods' driving but he is a complete divot for letting this happen.
