12 Days of Christmas UFBR event@AsphaltWarriors!
Hello everyone! Its that time of the year again, and we are proud to announce that sign-ups are officially open for the 12 Days of Christmas UFBR league!

Here are the details:
There will be a total of 6 race-days held on Tuesdays and Fridays, with each race being held TWICE each day to fit different time zones. The time for the first race each day will be at 8pm Central Standard Time[GMT-6:00] (for those of us who are state-side). The time for the second race will be 9:00pm AEST [GMT+10:00]. The car will be the UFBR, (45% intake restriction on the UFR). For those of you who dont know, this car makes for AWESOMELY close racing and we are very excited and optimistic about it!

All races will be standing starts, and we will have cautions ONLY when
absolutely necessary. A recovery car will be available to try and flip your
car over should you be on your roof/side, or if you get bogged down into the sand. The recovery car will only attempt to recover your car for one full caution lap. We will be watching, and anyone who is caught purposefully pulling into the sand or flipping their car will be removed from the race.
[Tuesday, Dec.8th]
***This race will have a randomized starting grid following a practice
session. We did this because lap times are bound to be extremely close on oval anyway, making qualifying pointless.***

-----RACE IN 2010 GRAND NATIONALS------
We will be inviting the top 5 winners from each time zone to participate in
our Race In 2010 Grand National Event. The track/car combo and race format for this event is only known by 2 AW members, neither of which is competing in this league. This final event will be without a doubt the most unique and entertaining events ever attempted in LFS. The 10 lucky drivers who are eligible for this event at the time will be informed of the track/car combo and race format within 48hours of race day! RACE TO THE NATIONALS, LFSers!

Sign ups as well as everything else related to this league and our team are available in our forums at http://awlfs.freeforums.org/as ... mas-ufbr-league-t189.html. If you choose to sign up here, first come first serve priority will be given to those who signed up at our forums. Only (AW)88Amped, (AW)Smokey, (AW)Sidiousx, (AW)Burner and (AW)Vinny can confirm your registration. There are 20 total slots available per time zone. Server/Password information will be sent via email and/or LFS Forum Private Message.

When signing up include your username, screen name, email address (optional), and what time-zone you will be racing in (GMT-06:00 or GMT +10:00).

Also use this opportunity to show off your best christmas/holiday skin! We will post pictures and a poll for best christmas/holiday skin after the league is finished!
AW 12 Days of Christmas Practice Server
We have just launched a server (AW)ProUFBR for the sole purpose of practicing for this league. It is set to rotate every 6 races, and with the same tracks that will be running in the league. Lap numbers have been cut in half for practice/testing purposes. Hope to see you around for some close UFBR action!

**Please keep in mind that this server is still being configured. Most details have been ironed out, but there is much to be done still, of course.
Im tempted just for the rallyX races after todays little play.

Crap I hate these time zones.. race 1 is 02:00GMT and race 2 is 11:00GMT right? Any chance having something for us working Europeans too, UFBR on gravel sounds fun
