Hi guys,

I've recently picked up an old Microsoft Sidewinder FF wheel.

And I have taken it apart ( My god that was a maze... ) just so I can use the buttons for a custom steering wheel made from wood.

The thing is. The layout of the buttons is almost spot on.
But I want them a little bit different.
So how can I change the layout of the buttons without too much computer technical knowledge.
Also the FF ON/OFF button has some green lights in it. I want to use this as a pit limiter button. But I can't use it because it's a assigned button already. Sow how can I change that too.

And how do I set my PC so i can drive with the G25 and use the Sidewinder buttons as well in LFS?

so you want to take the circuitboard from that Sidewinder wheel for your wood contraption? Just solder the buttons/cables to the respectable ones on the board, you don't need to tweak anything driverwise.
