excellent work!!

I really like that mod and the way it raises the quality of the cars' looks!
But I stopped using it cause in (my) game the skins get extremely dark so that a dark blue or green kind of turns to black. Any idea about the reason for that?
I'm running a Sapphire 9800pro with 5.7 omega drivers which definitely bring the best quality and frame rates out of that card (better than the latest drivers!)

I haven't seen an FPS hit

i did, i got a pretty bad one so i had to get rid of it :S

The texture was only rewritten,I think that FPS does not down.It is the same as the skin of a car.

well its a larger texture (filesize wise too)

so it ate up all my video memory

Yeah, if you have very little RAM on your graphics card, you'll be better off with the original textures... Me, I have 512 MB on mine, so I use all quality textures I can get my hands on...

makes one of the cars incar dash look a bit crap mind ??

I only have 64 Mo on my graphic card and i didn't make backup of these files ...so if someone has backups, plz send it to me
