LFS team has given up on the public a long time ago, this is proof the 2 slowest developers in the history (even more then GT5) COULD hire Competent PEOPLE TO GET LFS OUT AND BE A FULL GAME some time in the next 5 years

For some reason i had to do system restore after installing that game, i am not going to try that again!

its fine already, while its more of a simulator then a average 08/15 racing game with lame carrer mode and such. LFS fills out a niche and i for one am glad.

There are many many many racing games that you want so .. go play them...

Go develop a game and then judge the LFS developers.

Perhaps we will get an xmas pack with christmas lights, tinsel, snow on the buildings around the track and some xmas trees in the garage with a secret santa that randomly spawns around the track.

They could have randomly spawning black santa, white santa, asian santa, midget santa, bin laden santa. Might be fun

The game looked a bit iffy, not that bad but I think it simply looks like lfs vs being a credible lfs replacement.

And the guy with the antivirus. Some trojans are not harmful. I used to play this crappy game once called ummm... oh.. lineage 2 and that always came up as a trojan but in actuality it was not. Conicidentally that game also sucked. It's probably just telling you the game is rubbish.

If you hate LFS so much, why do you bother posting? LFS is fine as it is, and if it's "developed too slow" for you, there's NKP, iRacing, and the ISI half-assed-"sim"-with-broken-physics "sim's".

Or you can just go swallow some swords, maybe give your boring life some thrills.

Theres always Snowmod, it is actually for LFS 0.5Y, but with a few DDS files swapped around to get rid of any greenery and it still works.

You will also need to keep the car interior files from version Z and copy them back in after installing snowmod, otherwise nothing will display properly, you will end up with things like front bumpers imprinted as the back seat textures and stuff.

The demo isn't really similar to LFS at all.
These dudes aren't selling a game, they're selling a library. Complaining about the graphics is like complaining about the makeup a porn actress is wearing.

That said, I tried the demo, and the feedback on my wheel was inverted.
Playing with the keyboard, I got the impression that the physics model and control filters/automatic steering are very good (read "fun").

If I were developing a game with driving in it, I'd definitely hit these guys up to see how their licensing works.

Had to manually install PissX to make it work.

tested it, pretty nice that u can change the setup in real time wile playing..

havent tryed with wheel yet so cant say anything about the ffb and the feel..

but pretty fun to skid around anyway.. =)
