Do you enjoy jogging/running?
I run 5 miles in 35 minutes time every afternoon. I really do enjoy it.

Do you take a specific route everyday or do you change it up everyday?
I usually take different routes to keep myself from getting bored of going the same old way.
I'm 37 years old. I am on my feet in heavy steel toe boots all day for 8-10 hours. I have to take about 120 trips up and down flights of stairs all day (I counted one day, sometimes more, sometimes less). I go home and have the kids to take care of. I cook dinner (wifey is at work), clean up, do homework with the kids, work on some laundry, go out and work on the car or the house, take care of the dog.....

No, I do not enjoy jogging/running nor do I have the time.
I've never enjoyed it. Even back when I played hours of football every day, plain ol' running or jogging would have me dizzy in a couple of laps around the pitch :s
I'm a bit younger than Mike, but I'm on my feet many hours per day, usually in steel toe boots. I'm up and down the steps a lot (never counted though). I have a home to look after, a racing car to prepare and acting to do all in my spare time, as well as socialising. I do not have time to go running.

But I still do, and I enjoy it. It's especially good when you're feeling knackered, as it's very empowering. But it does take a bit more willpower to get up off the sofa and out of the front door in those circumstances.
I don't steal stuff that often really so I don't have much running to do.
I hate it.

I never enjoy running, because it makes my left leg hurt so much.
I do enjoy it .. especially after it I feel so relaxed, no matter how stressed or angry I felt just before I started. I also try to vary with the routes, usually running between 3.5 and 10 km .. sometimes slow, sometimes trying to beat my "pb".
Hehe, im been jogging/running now four months. In start, i not realy enjoued, but now when i´m not in the ditch bottom half dead, i enjoy it now

3/7 km per day
yes i really do! but not when its cold because im too prone to get ill

im waiting till warmer days again...running 3x a week in early morning in woods near place i live... around 5km there-back together, but its uphill so it takes around 30-45minutes.... it is really very nice feeling
I don't really like it but we regularly do it on school.
~2700 meter in 12 minutes, not really good but good enough for me.
Is your car broken runeman?
I don't run or jog on account of my crappy knees (old biking injury, re-strained several times playing Squash), but I try to get on my bike as much as I can through the summer.

I'll go for walks through the winter, though.
No my car is not broken down hyntty

Sounds like you have you have a really busy life mrodgers. I don't have a wife or kids, nor do I have a dog. I have a roomate that takes care of the cooking and laundry. Some of the jobs I take include unloading shipments from a trailer in which I do have to wear boots (not steel toe boots though)... Which requires walking up a ramp and carrying down quite heavy boxes, containers. I found that running and staying in really good shape, does make the job easier.
Since I do Kickboxing I quite ocasionally go for a run to push my endurance.

Usually run along the beach - No idea of the specific distance tho.
I Used to Run a lot, Went Unfit, Recently Started Running again, Im Doing around 2 miles a night now.
Need to be fit for racing
I need to start running, but running on cement kills my knees. Treadmills aren't bad, but I''m ****ing lazy.
Actually, when I was probably your all ages, yes I use to run and use to enjoy it (somewhat). I would get in a kick where I would run, then I would get lazy, then get the itch for some weight lifting, then get lazy about it again, etc, etc.

Mostly I did a lot of pickup sports in the younger days. All day on the basketball courts or vollyball courts. Winter was spent nearly every evening for hours with ice skates on and a stick in hand. If there wasn't any snow, even in the freezing cold we still played basketball when we weren't playing hockey. I was impervious to the cold back then. It's only down to about 20 F out right now and I just came in from taking the dog out. In my old geezer age now, I couldn't wait for the dog to finish her business so I could get out of the cold. In the old days, I'd be out on the ponds in nothing but a sweatshirt and sweatpants on the ice in 0 F weather without blinking an eye.
I don't really do any kind of running or physical exersion, apart from working on cars and things like that, mainly because i darent.....

For, well, since i can remember, since i was a child in fact, any kind of big workout or anything that gets me out of breath gives me a really bag dull ache on my chest, and it scares me, especially as even on a normal day when just sitting down i get heart palpitations that last for 2 or 3 minutes for no apparent reason, this happens to me every day, usually at least one time, sometimes more than once.

I suppose i should really go to the doctors about it, but me no like the doctors.

Its a deep seated fear really, as the last thing i remember of my grandad was when i went (aged 5 at the time) to the doctors with him one day, and 3 days later he died.

I know its silly and probably nothing to do with it, but it just puts me off.
I dont enjoy jogging, i get tired and start missing my PC.

Why would I run? Anywhere I could run to I'd be passing right by my perfectly good car.
Quote from dawesdust_12 :I need to start running, but running on cement kills my knees. Treadmills aren't bad, but I''m ****ing lazy.

Find a dirt track or a grassy area to run on... It'll help.
I ran downstairs to get the phone just now, won't be doing that again!
simple solution.

Less answering of phone, more drinky vodka...

Used to think that people who run for fun were maybe little bit crazy, but small runs do give you that good, energized feeling as long as you stay within your own limits. Most people are just turned off by the fact that if they have not exercised at all, they tend to push too hard and get exhausted, then crawl back to safety of their sofa and turn on TV.

Unfortunately it's quite cold this time of year and I hate cold, so I'll just have to wait for spring and continue getting back into shape. Been slacking for past few years and just before the winter, I decided to shape up and do frequent walks with little bit of running to slowly build stamina. My goal is to get back to the point I was during last couple months of army where I could run long distances and feel great afterwards, it might take a long time and I hope I have the discipline to keep it up.
