Mad catz steering wheel. *please look*
Hello, I'm trying to make my mad catz steering wheel go all the way around but right now it only goes half way around. I'll show you some pictures.

Buy a Logitech DFP?
You can't change the rotation degrees in such wheel. Not easily anyway. Get a DFP and you'll have it as stock (2.5 revolutions actually).
I can't afford a dfp.
You could take it apart and see what limits the lock, maybe you could think of an solution to get more wheel lock, but you won't get more than about 350° wheel lock (overall, about 175° to each side) with this method.

And it will be almost sure that you will need to fit an other potentiometer to your wheel.

But such mods are not very easy to make, and often aren't possible at all.

Would be better to buy a different wheel

If you make that wheel turn further than it now does you will destroy the pontetiometer inside which only rotates as far as the current range.
Alright, anyone know a cheap Dfp or something that has a shifter pedals and wheel.
There really isn't any "cheap" wheels that have realistic rotation with pedals and a shifter. You will be investing a somewhat expensive lump of cash into any such wheel.

The DFP being one of them. And then in October, that new Logitech G25 wheel, which will go for $300 USD.
as gunn said.. yes, that, and you also cant change how many degrees the wheel will allow you to turn since its all hard coded

but.. with this new G25 thing comming out, i wouldn't be surprised to see a large price drop for the DFP and momo racing sometime soon
I've heard reports of some large retail stores in the US knocking DFP's out for as low as $30 in sales from time to time. I've seen them in US online shops for $60 or so before, so they are infact quite cheap.
:ices_rofl
they would be refurbished DFP's then if they are that cheap

if not just plain used
Meh, say what you will, I'm just saying what I've read and seen online. I can't find any that cheap doing a quick google now - its all closer to $80 but I'm fairly sure they were new units.
