As a note, my xp-m is not at stock V... it's like 1.80? i have tried up until 2V, shorting the gaps on its surface and stuff... but still i can't get it to run 2.4G. maybe i should really get a better cooling system. hm. but what i have has the proc at 45C :/ oh well, nappy time
I use CPU-Z just because I have more then AMD systems, so I have one copy of CPU-Z on my USB pen which I chuck in a system when needed. Plus the fact all the OC'ing DB's I use require a CPU-Z shot.
If you're at 1.8v then you are going too far. If you haven't drop your ram on a devider to take it down a tad, and bump the chipset voltage. If this is already done, then you're at your procs limit.
Though cooling can help I got the 2.5 using stock cooling. However my proc was hand picked and guaranteed to hit 3ghz if I had heavy duty cooling. But I ran it at 2.4ghz as my 24/7 setting. 200x12, rarely left that, and I was using 1.65v.
I dont doubt it.Its a fact.
How you can have smooth gameplay with aproximetly average 30 FPS at 800*600.Average 30FPS mean that it can dip into low 20 or even lower.
And thats 7300GS and not even more crappy 7300le.
Sweet shit! My MX440, Ti4200, 9700pro and 6800GS all get better preformance then they do (agreed the first two are DX7 and DX8, so draws less eyecandy). Sucks to be anyone who has one. But then one would assume they are not made for games anyway.
