Ok heres the problem, never had this problem untit I installed the first patch that came with the BR1, I open LFS.exe and a black screen flashes like its about to open but it doesnt. No error messages come up or anything. Also, it doesnt happen every time, but it is very common, sometimes after a restart it works, but sometimes it takes like 5 restarts of my pc.
The only thing that does happen after the crash is a deb.log file is created. I deleted the file and tried opening LFS and after it crashed the deb.log file is created. I am not sure if this file is normally supposed to show up either. Here is what is in the file:

LFS : 0.5S
timer resolution 1 ms
read config
get command line
preinit d3d
number of adapters : 1
adapter 0 - valid modes : 106
load bans
load font

I dont know if this will help, but hopefully someone can help.
I am using V0.5s, as it says in the file seen above.
