I must admit, once i had read up to that point i knew that i had a very important decision to make, do i stop reading altogether and save running the risk that the next few words may potentially scar me for life, or do i continue, in the hope that whatever follows that cleverly worded piece of text will in fact be totally innocent.
I chose the 2nd option, and i am relieved that it was all OK!
In the future (long future... I think) with the 136hp engine of Mondeo 2.0 it will be better hehehe but for now I have so much fun with this. I'm glad that you like it.
This is what I drive around in. It's a pretty much stock '03 Focus 2.0l. Blueflame, you thought that Mondeo was bad, well this is 'only' ~125bhp from 2000cc Still goes very well though, we did a track day in it a while back, took all the rear seats / carpet out, put EBC pads and hi-temp fluid in it and went Caterham bashing, was good fun!
Looks good, i like the mk3's had a couple myself, only little 1.1 ones tho as they were all i could afford to insure!
Im not sure i would have gone for those morette headlights myself though, as i like the 'badboy' bonnet look you can get for those, like my one had.....
Yeah, badboy bonnets look kinda OK on mk3 fiestas, but look much better on a mk4 escort, as the car itself is quite angular and pointy, whereas the fiesta is quite rounded.
Im gonna post the van i used to have, i bought it very cheaply (£100), it was f--ked, i didnt start or run, got it running after fixing the minor problems, a previous owner had somehow got the feed and return pipes around the wrong way to the carb, plus plug leads 2 and 3 were swapped round the wrong way too, which made for epic flames out of the carb when trying to start it, plus the timing was well out as well, totally bodged engine change.
I did all that, it ran sweeeeet, i hopped in it one day, and crruunncchh, the drivers seat fell through the floor on one side, totally rotten as a peach all the way through, both floor pans were gone, as were the inner and outer sills, inner wings, rear floor, all totally wrecked.
I sold it as it was, running, and got £150 for it, so at least i made a little profit, but even to this day, i still regret selling it as it was salvageable, if i could have been bothered to do it up.
It's Ford! :haha: However, when one day I can mount the engine, this will not only have 136hp surely haha
Nice Focus Minimaxman, a friend has that model in red and three doors and I really like it, but if I could choose, would be better and more beautiful one FRS1 hahaha.
danthebangerboy, glad you like, to me the badboy doesn't convince me much at the Fiesta, I had a hard time finding these Morettes, in Spain there are very few and bring them of Uk is very expensive, mine got the brackets which are screwed broken and these cost me 150 € but finally I got them and I love them (with the RS1800 bodykit would be much better but I have no money for everything).
I find the angle to be too high, it's almost separating the headlights diagonally. Thought that doesn't mean I miss the point of badboy bonnets, I don't I just think they should be more subtle and not that vulgar.
Mine is a 1.8 Zetec-E 105hp but I want in the future do many mods for this car, When I was a little kid I loved this serie (mkIII) and now I'm having one, is not a RS1800 but is very well and I hope to have this car for loooong looong time (This September turned 16 years and now has 166.9xx km).
