Good news out of Bad.
A five year old boy was pulled from the rubble of a building in Haiti today...8 days after being trapped in his home which collapsed .

Goes to show you that youth has the ability not to give up on life...

Way to go young fellow, hope you have a long and happy life.

8 days without water, gj
Now I feel all warm inside. :lovies3d:

That might also be because I just drank a cuppa coffee.

Anyways, brave boy. Im not sure, but i think that i personally woulda give up at this time. I mean, i would lose the "hope".
What would you DO for 8 days without being able to move?

I can barely sit still for 8 minutes without going spare.
Same. (Chris)

Stuff like that is really heavy. It's a miracle the boy didn't die from lack of water/food/boredom/etc. Impossible almost to fathom

Makes me think of the guy who was trapped in an elevator for 41 hours years ago. When I read his story I couldn't stop thinking about what it must have been like. It you haven't seen his video and you weren't phobic of elevators before, you will be slightly afterwards...

41 hours? No telephone in lift? No one monitoring the camera's? Guy didn't have a mobile? No one else needed a lift and realized it wasn't working?

That seems bizarre. I'd be trying to kick the shit out of the access panel in the roof to get out. If that didn't work, i'd probably try sleep for a bit, therre isn't much else you can do i spose. Pretty bad that no one noticed tho..
