After so much work going behind the scene, it's a real pleasure to introduce ourselves there !
The very successful story of this -already- legendary team began on the 19th January 2010, when Luxembourg's mysterious demo ace, fabiocca revealed his(?) plans to create a brand new team. After 48 trepidous hours of work, fabiocca did his best to set up the best possible team, and managed to set up an healthy 8 members squad. Meanwhile, one of these recruit, the ex-LCC member Yann Laprevotte, managed to create the logo(after stealing an obscure slogan found in a random vid made by some random guy called "mp3Astra") and the first ever skin of the team. "I wanted to make something simple", said the unenthousiastic Frenchman. "I am really fed up of those eye candy skins with overused effects, you see. This one is just perfect, everyone can see that we're hardcore with it."
That skin was inaugurated with an hotlapping session, where a few members of the team tried to break the XFG-BL1 WR with fabiocca's secret and uber fast setup. This session was eventually aborted after a few attempts, for unknown reasons. (See attachements).

New event coming : 36H of Blackwood
Yes, although we are quite new, we already plan to get very active in the most prestigious leagues and event as soon as possible. We already sent our app for the Masters Of Endurance, and expect to receive a positive answer in the next few days. Our aim is simple, to get a win in the GT1 class before the end of the season, after lapping F1RST Racing at least twice.
But, we do realise that good results don't come from the sky, just because you feel like you'd like to win. No, no. This is why we realised that we should train, in order to improve our already exceptionnal skills. This is why we decided to host our first ever endurance event, the 36H of Blackwood, which will be held at Fern Bay Rallycross Green Reversed on the 30th of February. The race will be 12 hours long, and every single GTR car will be available.

Note : In order to ensure to get the best possible standards in this event, we decided to make it on invite basis. No sign-up will be accepted. The only way to get in the event is to be part of one of these very successful teams :

We at LUX Racing are keeping a close eye on every single talent in LFS. Therefore we are open for applications. But, to not get spammed with applications form, please make sure that you meet at least one of the 2 requirements listed above :
- To be an ex [LCC] or promotech member
- To have at least 10.000 posts on LFS Forum
- To have at least 200 cookies, 100 cakes or 50 bottles of Vodka
- To be able to eat 7 Jaffa cakes at once
- To be the winner of LFS Forum's 2009 "Greatest person of the universe" award
- To be a close friend of lerts or earmelon
- To have a "fun personnality"
- To be a Kia fanboi
If you do not meet one of those 2 requirements, your application will NOT be considered !

The team has only been announced a few minutes ago, but we have awersome news already !!
We are glad to present our two new kickass members :
- Laurynas Matonis : Lauris, as he's called, comes from Lithuania. He will be LUX's official Elvis look-alike, and also our official porno commentator.
- Karl Raudsepp : Karl comes from Estonia, and he's racing in real life for the record. He will be the official dummy of the team, and also our official Japanese translator.
More big names to come soon !!

- Dominik "Deutschland2007" Engel : Dominik is 16 years old and comes from... eeerr... Can't recall, sorry :hide:. Anyway, Domi will have one of the biggest roles in the whole LUX team : he will be the sale manager. Basically, he will have to sale the weed provided by jrd.racer, in order to get enough profit to keep the team alive. Indeed, LUX is known to have an enormous budget, as we need to buy l33t softwares to paint our kickass skins.
- Vince "proa2414" Verstreken : Vince comes from Belgium, and will be our official beer provider
