I'm one of the admins, you might know me as AMG Steve. I'm most chances the softie of the group. I have only ever banned one lad(he was a smasher and a half) and kicked about 3.
I can't really blow my trumpet here, I have had nights on the server where I can't get a lap in. And found myself joining the "noob" hunt. It depends on the mood of the day, some days I help everyone and others I just cant be arsed with it. I remember racing on Conedodgers, it was some days the best racing ever... and other it was total shite! This is the same for each and every other server on LFS. Some could say CD admin were to hard and some might say AMG are to soft. but it's a fine line between nice admin and take the piss admin! Each admin are different(as you know). I can be god to one lad and a total wank to the other. It's all part of the gaming life. I deep down love every minute i'm online whether it's LFS, BF1942, Total War and so on. The one thing I will say I have come to notice, is that the faster the racer gets the more of a noob he becomes. Or how about this, the more the monkey climbs the tree, the more he shows his arse! We are the ones with 10k of laps, race laps times in the high 1.40's and low 1.41's yet we are the ones that don't slow down for learners at the chicane.... we go to close to people we have never raced with before. And when they hit us we go nuts! I too have found myself doing this. It takes someone with a level head to remind you of this(Daddy Sin).

Anyway I only came on to say hello!

Take is easy

P.S I type faster than my brain can work, so please don't laugh at any grammer or spelling!

Steve
Quote from Deutschland2007 :Better drive the car you like more rather than the car that´s "faster". I drive the XRR for most for the time although I think I could be faster in the FZR. The only thing where the XRR is more difficult than the FZR is under braking. When you have to downshift the reartires sometimes lock and the back get´s abit lose, but aslong as you don´t shift down to quickly all should be fine. There is not an all that big diffrence between XRR and FZR on AS3 as the XRR has a fair bit of topspeed.

blip the throttle between downshifts

and it never gets lose, now matter how hard you brake..

weellllllll......obviously if you have a far back brake bias and slam on the brakes its gonna break no matter how much blipping you do

i have never been much of a gtr racer though
Goddammit steve you epicly :bump: a 6mth old thread
Better late than never.... I never come on forums that much. Only when bored and have nothing else to do! But doesn't matter if its 6 months old or not. The issues are still the same! lol

it will lock even if brake bias is 100/0 F/R

this is because engine speed does not match the wheel speed..
i should try to drive that car every once in a while
