Ford Granada MkII Car Clubs Online Forums - Where?
Hi all! I've been looking everywhere for a forum dedicated to Granada MkII owners/enthusiasts but I've been met with no luck. It was hopeful with this site (Granada and Scorpio Online) so I registered there but I can't post anything because an admin needs to approve of my account but I'm also having problems with my account there since when I log out and back in again, I get an error of an invalid username. The main reason why I'm looking to join a forum like that is because I'm slowly restoring one. I've got the Haynes manual for it but there is a missing bit which is replacing the rear door triangular window. Cheers!

Would you like me to post pics of the many MK2's that we have raced?

Nah lol, my mate has got a mk2 on the road ATM, a 2.8 ghia x, plus a mk2 limo with a rear convertible roof, we love em, but we also race the nackered ones too.

My mates have raced a few rareish ones tho, much to your dispair i imagine lol, mk2 minster saloon, mk2 limos (x5), mk2 hearses (x2), mk2 2 door, plus hundreds of regular saloons and estates, and i mean literally hundreds,

We have a yard full of em at the moment as well, i think we have 2 estates, 1 limo, and about 9 saloons at the last count waiting to be built.

We like mk1s as well tho, we have raced.. mk1 limos (x3), mk1 coupe, mk1 'coke bottle' coupe, and and ultra rare mk1 coupe limo over the last year or 2.

We still have 2 mk1 saloons and his first ever mk1 estate at the yard ready for this season, just gotta build em first.

There is also a mk1 capri and a couple of mk5 cortinas down there, plus i think a consul and a mk3 capri as well.

So where is this yard? Don't worry if you find it half empty
Just realised where your are.....think I might know already
Lol, i doubt anyone would be able to get near the old stuff anyway, too many mondeos in the way!!

Well, you gotta have something for 2 litre meetings i suppose!

Use a 2 litre mondeo then! Dont destroy old classics. If you can see the ground through the floors then maybe, but if not give them back!:chair:
At least sell the wings etc for spares, done exactly need them, maybe use an exchange basis for old rotten ones to fit
Most of the ones we have got have been sat on peoples drives forever and dont really have much in the way of metal left underneath them at all, chassis rails gone, floorpans, sills etc,, all fell off, a little bit of patch welding to make em safe, then duct tape, filler, and lots of paint to make em look good on track, these are all well too far gone to even go near the road!

If i am there i do take some care when stripping parts off tho as i tend to stick any good bits such as headlights and indicator lenses,, etc on ebay as they seem to be in demand but if anyone else gets to the cars first then its hammer time, whereas i will piss about with rotten screws and bolts for ages to salvage a good set of lights or something as if people need the sparesand we have em then why waste em i reckon.
