Hello. I just got my new PC today and started downloading LFS and when I installed it, the LFS screen pops up and and goes back to my desktop and when I try to open it again, it does the same thing. Anyone can help me here?

Are the graphics drivers installed?

Try to go to windowed mode by pressing quickly shift-F4 .. I sometimes have the problem you describe.
