Quote from 65D :If I understood your first question correctly, I have tried both anti-aliasing, Live For Speed's own anti-aliasing and from ATi's Catalyst Control Center. In both cases I get same frames.

I spawned with FOX to WE1 with window mode, 57-61fps. I pressed Shift + F4, it changed to full screen, 56-63fps. So difference is very little.

I'm using 15,4'' monitor. I don't use 16bit, they're just too ugly. Now I checked again my resolution what I was using, it's 1280x768. And I tried 16bit of that resolution, fps increased from 60 to 78. And my full settings you can check in attached image.

btw, my computer is very poor and slow and I'm really frustrated cause of it.

check to see what the best cpu your motherboard can support. then hit the ebay or buy new. adding more ram isn't going to help you much in terms of LFS so i would not waste money on that.
in your case, a small upgrade could make a big diference.

Doesn't matter do I buy i7 or i100. That's just the truth that graphics card is as well very old. In two years I'm planning to buy new computer, when I will finish my studies and start live alone..

what/where is this anti-aliasing funtion within lfs????
Antialiasing is supposed to smooth the edges of objects so that they don't look so "pixelated". I think that this image demonstrates pretty well what does the AA do.

AA requires a decent graphics card to run smoothly, low-end ones will be virtually down to their knees if you apply AA.

yes verry nice!!

but how about a full answer?

where the hell is the option for it in lfs so i can make sure its set low or even off??

if them images aint photoshoped then that looks nice, but not for me just yet
--> graphics
If you cant see the option under graphics, your onboardchip probably does not support it.

So it does means his graphic card is more ridiculous than mine.
